RESCHEDULE A LESSON

We will make every effort to reschedule your lesson based on instructor availability, with at least a 24 hour notification ahead of the weekly scheduled lesson.  If there is availability in the schedule, the rescheduled lesson will take place at an alternate time/day within the month of the lesson that you would like to reschedule.  Also, for students that take lessons in-person at the music studio, an online lesson via Skype,  Zoom or FaceTime may be requested as an alternative to missing a lesson.  Additionally, on inclement weather days, students that normally take lessons in-person will take their lesson online as the lesson will not be canceled.  If the instructor cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled at a mutually agreeable time.

The instructions for rescheduling a single lesson are outlined below:

STEP 1 – From the Bryant’s Music website, log into your Studio Helper account with your username and password.  Click on the Studio Helper CALENDAR to view your weekly music lesson schedule.  All currently enrolled students have a regular weekly lesson time slot already reserved on the teaching schedule.

You can now search the Studio Helper Calendar by day, week, or month for open time slots within the same month of the lesson that you would like to reschedule.  Rescheduled lessons do not roll over to the next month and are not cumulative.  The calendar is updated daily.  If there are no available time slots, we recommend that you check the calendar regularly for open time slots.  The rescheduled lesson can be done in-person or online.  Once you find an open time slot, you must first CANCEL your Single Lesson Time Slot for that day by clicking on your name as it appears on the Studio Helper Calendar, and then click on REQUEST CANCELLATION.  Click on SUBMIT form.  Your teacher will receive an email notification of the cancellation of your Single Lesson for that day.

STEP 2 – If you wish to reschedule your Single Lesson that you canceled in Step 1 above, click on the OPEN TIME SLOT on the Studio Helper Calendar.  REGISTER for the Open Time Slot by completing the free Online Event Registration Information Form.  Click on SUBMIT form.  Your teacher will receive an email notification for the rescheduled lesson.  If you choose not to reschedule or can not find an open time slot that meets your schedule, the tuition fees are not credited or refunded for missed lessons that are already reserved on the weekly teaching schedule.

LESSON SCHEDULE CHANGE

After students/parents have registered for music lessons, a regular weekly lesson schedule is reserved on the teaching schedule.  If scheduling conflicts arise repeatedly, it is highly recommended that you consider requesting a new regular weekly schedule as slots become available. Submit a written request to the Studio Director and a list of available music slots will be provided for your consideration.

TEACHING SCHEDULE

The studio provides music instruction year-round with breaks throughout the year.  Please check the music studio calendar on a regular basis.  The music studio calendar can be accessed by registered students/parents by logging into your music studio account.

WITHDRAWAL FROM LESSONS

Keep in mind that fluctuations in interest are perfectly normal and should not signal an end to your musical training. Please consult your teacher before making any decisions about lesson termination.

If you decide to withdraw from lessons, a 30-day notice from the 1st of the month, in writing, is required to the Studio Director.  If a one full month notice is not provided, tuition for the entire month is still due and must be paid, whether you attend or not.

OBSERVATION OF LESSONS

Bryant’s Music has an open door policy for observing lessons. Parents are encouraged and welcome to observe his/her child’s lesson at anytime. However, in order to have the student’s undivided attention, siblings and friends must remain in the lounge area under the supervision of an adult.

PHOTOS AND RECORDINGS

Bryant’s Music reserves the right to photograph and record (audio/video) students in recitals, instruction and rehearsals.  Photographs and recordings of students are for promotional purposes and may be used on our website and other media communications.  By participating in Bryant’s Music programs, you consent to the taking and publication of your photographs and recordings (audio/video) for Bryant’s Music promotional use without compensation.

STUDENT PROGRESS

The instructors will be unable to discuss student progress with parents before or after the lesson since other students have lessons at those times. Parents, sit in on your child’s lesson, call the Studio, or schedule an appointment with the instructor, if you have concerns or questions. The best time to call the Studio is Monday-Friday, in the morning. E-mail and text messages are highly encouraged.
